We’re thrilled to feature Second City Canine Rescue (SCCR), based in Palatine, IL, as our Rescue of the Month! This volunteer-driven nonprofit is committed to “Rescuing Responsibly” by saving homeless dogs and placing them in loving, permanent homes. Meet three of their amazing adoptable dogs below. Bindy

Bindy is a vibrant, free-spirited adventurer! Social, outgoing, and always ready to make a new friend, Bindy’s zest for life is contagious. She loves being held and cuddled but is just as happy chasing after a squeaky ball or wrestling with a fellow pup.

Everest

Despite his youthful energy and playful nature, Everest is already potty trained and knows how to behave on a leash. This friendly, food-motivated pup is a true people-lover and will happily shower you with affection once he gets to know you.

Harley Lane

Meet Harley Lane, about 6.5-year-old poodle mix with the softest brown fur and the most expressive eyes you’ll ever see. Harley Lane might take a little time to warm up to new people though once she does she’s a faithful best friend who wants nothing more than to be by your side.

Love on Tap – Wedding Celebration with a Cause

A time for libations, laughter, and love. Bringing effervescent charm and well-chosen cocktails to the happiest day of this couple’s lives, Tipsy Tails proudly served at this lovely spring wedding. It’s a mission driven by love on wheels, not simply a bar. As evidence that every love story has the power to transform more than two lives, a part of the event’s revenues was donated to Second City Canine Rescue.
